CARES Center, Mississippi's first private, nonprofit PRTF, offers a highly structured, therapeutic environment for children and adolescents ages 7 through 17 who are in need of intensive residential services to treat severe emotional and/or behavioral disturbances.

• Licensed for thirty (44) beds and a component of the Mississippi Children's Home Services
• Accredited with Commendation by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO)
• An interdisplinary team of professionals and support staff including licensed psychologists, board certified child psychiatrists, licensed therapists, certified recreational therapists, certified teachers, registered and licensed nurses, registered and certified dietitians, and a host of other caring staff.

We provide intensive residential services for typically 4-6 months in a highly structured and loving environment.
